Rabson Thembo

Thembo Rabson is a self-driven hardworking youth holding a Bachelor’s degree of science in planning and community development from Mbarara University of science and technology. Rabson has further enhanced his skills and competencies by pursuing short courses where he has attained certificates in courses like proposal writing, digital security, introduction to the core humanitarian standards and activism in covid-19 conducted by MS Training Centre for development cooperation MSTCDC ARUSHA among others.

Rabson volunteered with Compassion International Uganda; a child development Centre. He currently holds the portfolio of Assistant Programmes Officer at Creations Forum Afrika where he joined as a volunteer way back in 2018. He helps the programmes management team in project implementation, fundraising, coordination, partnerships, project monitoring and reporting. Rabson manages CAF’s online platforms, Facebook and Twitter for public engagement. Rabson also manages solidarity pesa a self-help community-driven fund that enables the marginalized access to affordable financing for personal and collective development.

As a human rights activist, he is passionate about the presumption of innocence to ensure innocent people never get criminalized which he believes is one of the greatest violations of basic freedoms.
