A social worker by profession holds a Bachelor’s Degree in social work and community Development from Mountains of the Moon University, with a number of certificates in short courses for additional skills and competencies.
Is a committed and hardworking young lady with a passion in community organization, peace building and youth development – with a niche around youth skills development and influencing behavior change through experiential sharing and motivational speaking. A good communicator and listener, and strong believer in diversity.
Lucia celebrates over five years of social development work. She has previously worked on a community rehabilitation program supported by Hogent University in collaboration with Mountains of the Moon University focusing on serving the under privileged, vulnerable and marginalized communities. Has also worked with Kabarole Research and Resource Centre as a youth facilitator in Boma Youth Skill Hub as well worked with Uganda Martyrs University mainly dealing with students, and this has greatly enhanced her communication and interpersonal skills, and enabling her to respect every human regardless of their age, ethnicity and other settings.
